<br />
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered.<br />
<br />
<div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We’re almost 37 weeks. I so like touching the baby bump and
the look on my wife’s face glowing with expectation.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I see more and more baby things in the house now. All for a
person who is yet to see the world.<o:p></o:p></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I think about what she would look like. I think about how
she would smell? I think about putting my finder on the folds of her arms and
leg.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I think I can hear her voice. The sound of her cry, her
giggles, her call for attention.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
We talk about how to raise her. We talk about the sacrifices
we are willing to take. That Mommy would stay at home and Daddy goes out to
work.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
While we wait for the labor pain to signal, we are ready.
The books, the bags, the contacts. The plan is all in place.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
All these going on, I should be happy. But, why do I feel
unbalanced? Why do I feel uneasy. I feel such a strong emotion I cannot
contain.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I look in my heart, is it fear? Is it a fight against
responsibility? Is it a feeling of helplessness? Is it that I feel that things
are going out of control?<o:p></o:p></div>
<div align="center" class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
All I know, is that my heart is pounding, my emotions are
raging, my mind is searching for answers… I do not know. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Can I be a good Father? <o:p></o:p></div>

I can’t find the answer.<o:p></o:p></div>

I can’t sake this feeling What should I do?<o:p></o:p></div>

I do not know.<o:p></o:p></div>

<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
I’ll let the feeling stay and trust that all will be well.
That the answers I am looking for will be revealed in due time.<o:p></o:p></div>

I’ll trust that I will be capable to handle whatever
comes my way.<o:p></o:p></div>

For now, I’ll be a supporting husband.<o:p></o:p></div>

<i>And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. </i><br />
<i><br /></i>
I pray to God to shake me and move me.<br />
<br />
That through the changes that happen in my life I can be truly dependent on Him.<br />
<br />
I pray for the changes to come.<br />
<br />
Changes that will make me look up to sky and call on the Lord will all my heart.<br />
<br />
I pray for strong challenges<br />
<br />
Challenges that will push me to the limit to unlock the potential of my mind.<br />
<br />
I pray for the courage to move with inspiration.<br />
<br />
An inspiration that is so strong to keep my fears in check.<br />
<br />
I pray to have the faith to believe that God will lead me and give me success.<br />
<br />
A faith that grows and see the good in everything.<br />
<br />
Because I know that <i>all things God works for the good of those who love him</i>.<br />

<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Hebrews
10:22<o:p></o:p></span></i><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Let
us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our
hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a quality conscience and having our bodies
washed with pure water.<o:p></o:p></span></i></div>
<span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Majority of the things we do in life are connected to
having relationship. Our ability to create healthy and deeper relationship
determines the result of an endeavor, may it be in work, life and love. <o:p></o:p></span><br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">How the boss at work accomplishes tasks for the company
depends on how he moves his people who follow him. How someone who wants/needs
something and enlists other to help him get it. To the lovers who trust and
believe all will turn out well in the future, as long as they are together.
Relationships, connections, matter. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">The more we get closer to God, the more we build our
relationship with him. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>We then, increase
our faith in Him, not just ordinary faith but quality faith.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>With
this solid faith, the more we accomplish in life and in our spiritual life. As
we grow closer to Him, we depend on Him more. We surrender more and more to Him
and more of His plan goes in to our life. </span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Strive to have a deeper relationship with God. Connect
with Him on a higher level. </span></div>

<span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">When we pray, we raise our concerns to God. We learn to
put our trust in him. We learn to depend on him. This dependence increases our
faith and gives us hope. To get up and move forward each and every single day
needs faith and hope. We build an attitude that is certain that all will turn
out for the good.<o:p></o:p></span><br />

<span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Every time I come across this verse, I am reminded how
Jesus tells us to believe and have faith. How we should claim our rightful
blessing from the heavens. That we are all worthy and capable to receive his
blessing. To be successful.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;">
<span style="font-family: "Tahoma","sans-serif"; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">God’s grace is overflowing, it is endless. We need to

Step out in faith. <o:p></o:p></span></div>

That God wanted us to see past the material world and look out for the things that are unseen. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="color: #333333; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Looking at the simple verse above, it is one of the Beatitudes. My question… Why does God wants us to be weak? </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="color: #333333; font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">A long time ago I came across this piece of scripture and could not understand why the Lord would want us to be meek. I used to define meek as shy, timid or submissive. For me these are qualities of being weak. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><br />

That one must reflect on them and ask God’s wisdom to gain one of the many spiritual meanings of it. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><br />

That is to have the ability to use power intelligently. Be able to be so strong yet gentle. Be so smart yet has an open mind. Be so loving but is willing to yield…</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><br />

We look at all the angles, check the historical data and make calculated projections before moving on with a business or an investment. It gives us a sense of security. It gives objective to the task at hand. It is the most normal and/or logical thing to do to succeed. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Now, Faith gives a different dimension on how we do things. It is not calculated or logical. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">It is by faith that one gives more of himself. It is blind, no projection of the future and no historical data. It is by faith that we learn to fall deeply for God. It is by faith that we become extra-ordinary and somewhat crazy. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Faith is like love. When we fall in love, we do crazy and illogical things, we become extra-ordinary. It is by faith that we are called to follow Jesus and his ways. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Jesus, many times gave emphasis on faith. Remember that wedding, where Mary, Jesus’ mother told him that there was no more wine (John2:1-11), and the Centurion who came to Jesus (Luke 7:1-10) and when Jesus appeared to Thomas (John 20:24-29). </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">It is by faith that we become fully dependent to the Lord our God. It is by faith where we can become stronger. It is by faith that we can go beyond the material things. It is by faith that we can become extra-ordinary. By faith we are rewarded. </span></div>chasehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18286198325465137926noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8469655265391699135.post-49630645835028588452011-01-27T03:39:00.000-08:002011-02-09T05:24:48.109-08:00Committed to You<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Proverbs 16:3</span></i></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. </span></i></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">When we take in God's gift to us, we accept Him in our life. We commit to live by His ways. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">For me it was difficult at first. I had to unlearn things... I had to be open and take in a new paradigm. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">I remember, the basic was I had to get rid of my addiction. At that time, it was smoking. Now, I am happy to say that since the day I committed my life to God, I never smoked again (I hope I never will). </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">I used to look at the practicality of things. If it is easy and convenient, then I go for it. Not minding the implications of my actions. Never really thinking that I am hurting others and disobeying God. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">The change in me brought about a sense of consiousness with God's will in my life. To be under his protection and authority. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">The key to committing to Him is love. If we truly love Him and accept Him in our life. We will let Him have his way. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">From Ru Della Torres' book Road Trip</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">When you committed your life to Jesus, you handed over the driving priviledges to Him. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">This means He has a say in the whos, whats, where and how of your life. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">As we all go forward and live our lives, let us remember that God is above us. Everything we have is from Him. He will give us the desires of our heart, we just need to step-out in faith, and in His own time and His will, we will have our blessings.</span></div>chasehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18286198325465137926noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8469655265391699135.post-15609071183957914142011-01-26T05:24:00.000-08:002011-02-09T05:24:25.078-08:00The Gift of God<div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Romans 6:23</span></i></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><i style="mso-bidi-font-style: normal;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. </span></i></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">When we sin, we take damage in all aspects of our life, not only spiritual. The damage is physical, emotional, mental, and social. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">The damage will cause us to feel the hurt and the strain of our actions. It will affect how we act, how we treat ourselves and how we treat others. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">If we continue to hurt, along the way, slowly we will numb, and die. A man hurting will be unable to contribute, He will be hindered. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">God gave us a Gift. That is Jesus Christ. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Do you want to take away the hurt?.. Start a fresh?... Remove the stain of sin on you? </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">I am sure the answer is Yes!</span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Then, accept the gift which is Jesus Christ in your life. Accept him in your life, believe that he is Lord and Savior. </span></div><div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt;"><span style="font-family: 'Tahoma','sans-serif'; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 115%;">Through his death, he took away our sins.
