A Deeper Relationship

Hebrews 10:22

Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a quality conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water.
Majority of the things we do in life are connected to having relationship. Our ability to create healthy and deeper relationship determines the result of an endeavor, may it be in work, life and love.

How the boss at work accomplishes tasks for the company depends on how he moves his people who follow him. How someone who wants/needs something and enlists other to help him get it. To the lovers who trust and believe all will turn out well in the future, as long as they are together. Relationships, connections, matter.
The more we get closer to God, the more we build our relationship with him.  We then, increase our faith in Him, not just ordinary faith but quality faith.  With this solid faith, the more we accomplish in life and in our spiritual life. As we grow closer to Him, we depend on Him more. We surrender more and more to Him and more of His plan goes in to our life.
Strive to have a deeper relationship with God. Connect with Him on a higher level.

All for Good

James 5:13

Is any one of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise.
When we pray, we raise our concerns to God. We learn to put our trust in him. We learn to depend on him. This dependence increases our faith and gives us hope. To get up and move forward each and every single day needs faith and hope. We build an attitude that is certain that all will turn out for the good.

To be in a state of gratitude is to see all that is best in us. Praise God for everything that he has done for us. He gives us all that we have and we should remember that all things he gave  us is for a reason.
May we focus to seek him each and every second of our day. To look at things through God’s eyes, and to see that all things are of God.

Claim it, it’s yours

Mark 11:24
Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours.

Jesus said: “Have faith in God”.
Every time I come across this verse, I am reminded how Jesus tells us to believe and have faith. How we should claim our rightful blessing from the heavens. That we are all worthy and capable to receive his blessing. To be successful.
God’s grace is overflowing, it is endless. We need to tap in the source (first and always)  and open our hearts to receive.
If you are placed in a difficult situation, know that you already have it. Press on. If you are ready to give up, stay strong, Hold on. If you can’t move forward, believe that all will turn out for the good. Step out in faith.
Trust in God, Call on to Him. Keep the love. Dream on. Move Forward… Claim it , it’s yours.

God's Will

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
With all the things that needs to be done and all the busyness of this life, I thank God for pulling me to His love and taking time to talk to me. I appreciate the quiet and alone time. I can steady my mind and talk to God. I would like to do the same even if life’s activities hit me hard and fast.
I will learn to truly be joyful and prayerful. I will learn to give thanks in all circumstances. For all is good in God’s will. For it will make me more like Jesus Christ.

I will train my mind and my heart to think of God’s will in my life in every situation, and know that all is from Him.
All these I raise to Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

Amen.

Back on Track

2 John 1:9

Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

I’ve been moving along in my personal life and work, striving to be the best that I can be. At first, I have Jesus in my heart, but as I move forward, I lost him.

Yes, I pray and read the bible but the flame that I once have, the love that was so strong for the Lord has weakened.
I achieved a lot of things but I lost something very dear to me. ~ This is my connection with Jesus my Lord and God.

I want to feel the intensity of the connection, the sincerity of the talks, the warmth of the relationship, the solid trust.
I want that all back again.

Let me move back on track toward your presence. Help me make Quality Time for you. Move my ways, change my plans. Let me reach out to you. Help me get back on track.

Thank you for pulling me back in. All these I raise up to you my Lord and My God Jesus Christ. Amen

Healthy Spiritual Life

Mathew 6:33
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Our main goal in following the commandments of our Lord God is not only to please him... So he will bless us with the things that we need and want.

We do this because we need Him in our lives. His love for us is food for our soul. In as much as we would want to be independent from that love, we cannot. It is the source of our being.

I personally reach out to God to feel His presence, love and mission for me. I want to get to know Him more, hear his voice and feel his embrace. I want to fully place my trust in Him. I need His love.

Now, I realize that with my growing relationship with Him, towards a Healthy Spiritual life, I will eventually be more faithful, trusting, loving, humble, honest, caring and responsible. These are qualities to live a true Christian life in this word. With these, I am ready to properly take care of any blessing the Lord will give us, may it be material, emotional, intellectual or spiritual.

I pray that I may sustain these values and continue to use all of my abilities to be a good servant for His name, for His glory.

May the good Lord continue to touch my heart and teach me how to truly love… to truly be a good servant.

Strength in Weakness

Mathew 5:5
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

As I read more about the word of God, I come to realize how they can truly help me walk a life of faith and greatly increase my trust in God. That God wanted us to see past the material world and look out for the things that are unseen.

Looking at the simple verse above, it is one of the Beatitudes. My question… Why does God wants us to be weak?

A long time ago I came across this piece of scripture and could not understand why the Lord would want us to be meek. I used to define meek as shy, timid or submissive. For me these are qualities of being weak.

I cannot understand why the Lord would want us to be weak, when we are gifted to be the best we can be.

Now, as I come to realize that these words are not meant to mean what they are in the material world. That one must reflect on them and ask God’s wisdom to gain one of the many spiritual meanings of it.

I have come to realize that to be meek means to have control. That is to have the ability to use power intelligently. Be able to be so strong yet gentle. Be so smart yet has an open mind. Be so loving but is willing to yield…

God ever so powerful loved us first. Sent his only Son Jesus to be with us and die for us.

I must have control over my resources. I must learn to control my strengths and my weaknesses. I am created by God. I am in His image. He loves me. He gave me power. He knows I can do great things.

I must learn to have control over my actions. I must glorify Him for everything that I do.
